How much do Welders make?
Anyone that has been working in any industry knows that there is no number set for any position. From 2021-2023 in Texas and locally in our area, the average wages for an entry level structural welder ranged from $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, and $25.00 – $38.00 for experienced welders. This number may increase or decrease in other states. As you learn more processes and add more skills to your tool bag, your pay rate will increase to your desire.
Traveling Welders.
Welding is required all over the World, increasing the demand for welders and increasing salaries. Staying in Texas pays well, while traveling out of state or offshore pays better. The experience you will gain from going to different industries in different parts of the world will make you a greater asset for when you want to settle in one area rather than keep traveling.
